Zuprevo 18% 250 ml (rx) is indicated for the treatment of bovine respiratory disease (BRD) associated with Mannheimia Haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida, and Histophilus somni (formerly Haemophilus somnus). For the control of respiratory disease in cattle at high risk of developing BRD associated with Mannheimia haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida, and Histophilus somni.
A macrolide antibiotic that is absorbed quickly from the injection site and reaches peak plasma concentrations within 23 minutes; faster than comparable macrolide products. It also persists in the lungs for up to 28 days; 7 days longer than other long-acting products.
