This 7.5% povidone-iodine Scrub is an antiseptic cleanser used for pre-operative skin preparation, daily wash and shampoo to help reduce germs that can potentially cause skin infections.
Povidone-iodine, the active ingredient in Betadine, is active against a broad spectrum of pathogens, in vitro. This antiseptic is formulated for animal care only and for external use only. 0.75% titratable iodine.
Betadine Veterinary is available as a topical antiseptic for external use on companion animals like dogs, cats and horses. Betadine Veterinary Microbicides are not for use on food-producing animals.
