Circular dial is attached to an 8.5 in long stainless steel stem. Insert stem in liquid to read temperature in Fahrenheit or centigrade. Features unbreakable polycarbonate lens, and stainless steel case. No pivots or gears used. Guaranteed accurate within 1% inside of thermometer range which is 0 to 220o F (-18 to 110o C).
