ONE SHOT BVD 100 ML (50 DOSE)
One Shot BVD protects against bovine virus diarrhea (BVD) Types 1 and 2, as well as Pasteurella infections (bovine pneumonia, respiratory infection, shipping fever) caused by Mannheimia haemolytica type A1 in cattle. Administer 1 mL subcutaneously (SQ). It can be given to pregnant cows or calves nursing vaccinated cows, provided the cows received any Bovi-Shield GOLD FP or PregGuard GOLD FP vaccine within the past 12 months. Heifers require at least 2 doses of any Bovi-Shield GOLD FP or PregGuard GOLD FP product, with the second dose given about 30 days pre-breeding. Calves vaccinated before 6 months should be revaccinated after 6 months or at weaning. Annual boosters are recommended or whenever stress or exposure occurs. One Shot BVD is a modified live vaccine that requires mixing.
This vaccine is effective for healthy cattle 3 months and older against respiratory disease and abortion due to infectious bovine rhinotracheitis (IBR), BVD Types 1 and 2, bovine respiratory syncytial virus (BRSV), parainfluenza 3 virus (PI3), Mannheimia haemolytica, and Pasteurella multocida. Duration of immunity is at least 1 year for IBR and BVD Types 1 and 2, and at least 16 weeks for Mannheimia haemolytica and Pasteurella multocida. For reproductive immunity, it lasts at least 217 days for IBR and 206 days for BVD Types 1 and 2. Duration of immunity for BRSV and PI3 has not been established. Efficacy and duration of immunity have been demonstrated against disease caused by the BVD Type 1b strain.
