Polymast is an intramammary antibiotic infusion for mastitis treatment providing bactericidal activity against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria:

Treats the major mastitis-causing pathogens: Streptococcus agalactiae, Streptococcus dysgalactiae, Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli

Federal law restricts this drug to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian.
Directions: Infuse one syringe (10 mL) into each infected quarter. Repeat at 24-hour intervals until a maximum of three treatments has been given. Hold milk 72 hours after the latest treatment meat 10 days.
