Excede Sterile Suspension is an antibiotic indicated for the treatment of bovine respiratory disease (BRD), foot rot, and for the control of respiratory disease in cattle at high risk for developing BRD. Excede is also indicated for the treatment of lower respiratory tract infections in horses. Excede is the first and only FDA-approved antibiotic for horses that offers a full course of therapy in just two doses.

Excede (Ceftiofur 200mg/ml) sterile suspension is a single administration, ready-to-use formulation containing ceftiofur crystalline free acid.
It is a broad-spectrum cephalosporin antibiotic active against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria including B-lactamase-producing strains treat metritis.

Dosage: A single 1.5ml/100lb. SQ injection in the middle third of the posterior aspect of the ear. Two doses given 72 hours part help to get cows back to full health and peak with no milk withhold.
