The same EfferCept that is proven effective as a germicide for use as a pre- and post-teat dip or spray now is aloe-enriched with additional cleaning power. The active ingredient in EfferCeptSG is a special hypochlorous molecule that is proven &ldquohighly effective&rdquo in preventing new intra-mammary infections when tested by Louisiana State University under the National Mastitis Council procedures to determine ability of a teat dip to prevent infections under experimental challenge conditions. Enriched with aloe, EfferCeptSG penetrates to help protect, condition and soften teats and udders. The active ingredient has a naturally non-irritating pH of 6.7, is non-corrosive, non-caustic and has the same minimal irritation effects on skin as water. The SG improvement has added conditioning of aloe.
