CITGO Transgard Tractor Hydraulic/transmission Fluid has superior extreme pressure [EP] and antiwear performance to protect tractor transmissions, axles, and hydraulic pumps. The fluid lubricates transmission, differential, and final drive gears, and can serve as a power steering, power brake, power take-off, and implement drive fluid. It is designed to minimize chatter while allowing wet brakes to hold properly. Transgard's frictional balance also helps provide smooth engagement of the power take-off clutch. The balanced formulation helps maintain seals and gaskets, provides excellent rust and corroswion protection, and offers excellent oil oxidation stability for high-temperature service.
