Clostridium Perfringens Types C & D Toxoid.

 

ALPHA-CD&trade toxoid is recommended for the vaccination of healthy, susceptible cattle as an aid in the reduction of enterotoxemia caused by Clostridium perfringens Types C and D toxins. Immunity may be provided against the beta and epsilon toxins elaborated by Clostridium perfringens Type B. This immunity is derived from the combination of Type C (beta) and Type D (epsilon) fractions.

Dosage: Inject single 2 mL dose SQ. Beef & dairy calves vaccinated under 3 mos of age should be revaccinated at weaning or 4-6 mos of age.

 

2 mL booster is recommended annually. 60-day slaughter withdrawal.
