Using PCR technology, MYCOB™ detects the presence or absence of oligonucleotides (DNA) associated with Mycoplasma bovis in a single channel. Producers use this information as one input to inform management decisions. As always Acumen Detection recommends consulting with your herd’s milk quality consultants and veterinarians. Detection occurs in 3 hours compared to using the culture method. Provides you with clear ‘positive’ or ‘negative’ or ‘retest’ (indeterminate) results.
