GONAbreed is approved for use in lactating dairy and beef cows to treat ovarian follicular cysts and as part of reproductive synchrony programs in combination with estroPLAN or cloprostenol sodium for fixed-time artificial insemination (FTAI). It contains 100 mcg/mL of gonadorelin (GnRH) as gonadorelin acetate.
GONAbreed works by stimulating the release of endogenous luteinizing hormone (LH), promoting ovulation and luteinization of cystic follicles. Administer 1 mL (100 mcg) per cow either intravenously or intramuscularly.
