F10 ANTISEPTIC WOUND SPRAY WITH INSECTICIDE 500ML BOTTLE
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) for the emergency use of F10 Antiseptic Wound Spray with Insecticide for the prevention and treatment of infestations caused by New World screwworm larvae (myiasis) in cattle, horses, minor species of hoof stock, raptors and other wild birds, pet birds, and captive wild, exotic, and zoo mammals. F10 Antiseptic Wound Spray with Insecticide is not approved or indexed for this use.

F10 Antiseptic Wound Spray with Insecticide is a ready-to-use, dual-action topical solution for use on surface wounds in livestock and other animals. It combines polyhexanide, a broad-spectrum antiseptic and antimicrobial agent, benzalkonium chloride, a fast-acting, broad-spectrum antimicrobial preservative and disinfectant, and cypermethrin, an insecticide. Â Combining topical antiseptic action with insect control, F10 helps reduce the risk of secondary infection while preventing and treating fly infestations.

AUTHORIZED FOR USE ON:
- Cattle
- Horses
- Sheep, goats, deer, bison, llamas, alpacas
- Raptors and other wild birds
- Pet birds
- Captive wild, exotic and zoo mammals
LIMITATIONS OF AUTHORIZED USE
- Cattle, goats and sheep must not be slaughtered for human consumption within 30 days of treatment
- Milk from cows, goats or sheep must not be used for human consumption during treatment and for 10 days after treatment
- A withdrawal period has not been established for this product in pre-ruminating calves. Treated calves and calves born to treated cows must not be processed for veal.
- Not for use in food-producing species intended for human consumption that have not been assigned a withdrawal period e.g. pigs, chickens, turkeys, rabbits, ducks, pigeons
- Treated calves and calves born to treated cows must not be processed for veal
- Not for use in domestic dogs and cats
- It is a violation of Federal law to use this drug product other than as directed in the fact sheet
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
- Use disposable gloves during application
- Wash hands thoroughly after use
- Use in a well-ventilated area
- Clean the wound prior to application
- Hold the product 4 to 8 inches (10 – 20 cm) from site and apply 1 – 2 sprays per wound to a max of 5 applications per animal with multiple wounds
- Repeat once a week, if necessary or as advised by your veterinarian
- The product is water soluble and should be re-applied if animal is bathed or exposed to rain. If the wound persists or worsens, contact your veterinarian
